There are 3 parts to the NIC Exam
1. The Written
2. The Interview
(look for the Interview Menu Box
3. The Performance Evaluation.
Part 1, you will be tested in one setting, on one day that is separate from parts 2 & 3 exams.
Parts 2 & 3 of the NIC Exam, You will be tested on parts 1 2 in one setting on one day.

This portion requires you to know all 45 code of conduct tenets.
7 Tenets and 38 sub-tenets
You will be required to apply these tenets in a logical sequence or process to resolve an ethical issue in 5 different ethical scenarios.
Part 3 is the Performance portion of the evaluation,
you will be tested on 5 separate video situational scenarios.
These will include a variety of possibilities, including ASL, Transliteration, Register, and you will be rated based on a rubrick that is available the on RID.org website.
This course will fine tune your skills, teach you a process and techniques showing you how to sit like a professional for the interview and performance exams.
Many participants express a variety of issues that block them from doing their very best during an evaluation, there will be discussions, individually and in a group setting teaching techniques and processes that will show you how to overcome any barriers or blocks that hold you back from doing your best during the evaluation.
