Steven Kelley, The Carpenter's Son.

Steven Kelley is Native ASL, deaf since birth, was born in San Francisco and moved to Los Angeles as a child. He attended the Riverside School for the Deaf (C.S.D.R.), then relocated to Oxnard, CA and graduated 1976. He then went on to attend Ventura College. He eventually met and married his lovely wife Tari, they are now married 28 years.

Steven, is the proud father of 4 CODA children, and the joy in his life is their 2year old granddaughter and have another one on the way.

Steven has been a leader in his church, has taught  Deaf Sunday School for the past 22 years. Steven also teaches and tutors American Sign Language and Interpreter Students.

Steven received the citizen of the year award in 1989 for capturing an armed robber and held him down until the police arrived to arrest the would be escaped criminal.

Steven Kelley is a hero to his wife, his children, and his community. He is a commited son of God and was given the gift to be highly skilled in Craft of Carpentry. Steven makes all works of art with Love...Although priceless, Steven makes them available at extrodinarly reasonable prices...

Imagine if you will, with his own hands, he deftly inlays each type of wood, one at a time.  Steven must carefully and skillfully hold  each  piece of wood in its place while, inserting the next color of wood in its place, and so on...patiently waiting for the wood to dry, then applies the clear protective sealant.

While time consuming and taxing, Steven with the patience of Job expertly  crafts his woodworks with unconditional love.
